Parker CO Mountain Pine Beetle

Parker CO Mountain Pine Beetle

Parker Tree Service is dedicated to keeping Parker, Franktown and Sedalia residents up to date on mountain pine beetle populations.  Your area has one of Denver metro’ s highest areas of concentration.

Entomologists believe that the Parker CO mountain pine beetle was transported to the area through prevailing wind patterns. Strong winds in 2008 were responsible for transporting pine beetles over 70 miles. Luckily we haven’t seen many trees “go red” (die).

Mountain pine beetle spraying has over a 98% success rate in preventing pine beetle. The closely related IPS beetle also poses a threat to spruce trees in your yard. We typically do treatments for that at the same time.

Please send us a message if you see mountain pine beetles or any other types of bark beetles in your town. You may also call us at 303-795-2381 if that is more convenient.
