Hire a Certified Arborist

Hire a Certified Arborist

Why hire a certified arborist in Parker and Denver? A certified expert is taught, trained, and certified by the ISA to work on trees. Not everyone has a license to safely care for your trees. Learn what to look out for when hiring.

The International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) tests applicants to become an official ISA Certified Arborist. To become ISA Certified someone is educated, trained, and tested on tree care. ISA also expects continuing education and testing. This is better than hiring an untrained guy with a cheap chainsaw and a truck.

What services does a tree service provide? Trained, certified and insured arborists are definitely the type of expert to hire. What types of services are offered? Tree trimming, spraying, removal, and pruning are a few choices. Other services include pest/insect management and emergency tree care. Parker and Denver’s areas also have unique pests to consider such as the spruce beetle and the emerald ash borer threat from Boulder. With our Colorado clay soils, it’s hard for trees to get the water and nutrients they need to survive without some type of fertilization. Whatever your tree care and lawn needs, fill out a form for a free estimate with trained experts.

Only Hire a Tree Care Expert with Insurance

It’s important to only hire someone with insurance. Properly trained arborists are taught to know how to safely work on trees in your yard. They also have insurance coverage. Home people who offer tree services do not have insurance to cover costs if there is an accident. Not all tree care services have insurance. Be aware of who you hire to protect people, trees, and property.

  • I never knew what an Arborist was, until today. I wonder what kinds of tools that they use for their work. My yard is doing pretty bad, I’ll have to find a professional to make our yard look perfect.

  • It’s cool to see that arborists are taught, trained, and certified to work with tress. A good friend of mine has a tree in his yard that needs to come down, but he isn’t sure if he should try and do it himself, or hire a professional. This article talks about the importance of these workers and I hope that he chooses to go with professionals rather than do it himself.

    1. It’s true that hiring an arborist is the safest way to protect people, animals, homes, and property. With proper training, arborists minimize any risk of damage. Please always choose someone who is trained. Now you can get a free estimate before you commit to spending any money. This is so you know what costs you’re facing before any job is done so that there are no surprises.

    1. You’re absolutely right, we don’t want anyone getting hurt. Please hire out instead of trying a dangerous job like downing a tree. Getting a professional is the best way to avoid damaging property, people, pets, and landscaping.

  • Excellent article as usual. In some cases, employers prefer arborists that are certified by the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA). To qualify for the ISA’s Certified Arborist credentialing exam, candidates need at least three years of experience. However, candidates who hold an associate’s degree need two years of experience.
